Booster Membership
Parents are an important part of the MCHS Band, and have a vital role to play.
Without the assistance and cooperation of band parents,
there would be no chance for the level of success we want the band to reach.
There are many things parents can do.
As a band parent, you are automatically a member of the Band Boosters.
There is no charge for membership; however your participation is essential.
The monthly Band Parent Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the Month at 7:00 p.m.
At these meetings, upcoming activities are discussed
and the Band Director provides an update of the program.
All band parents and supporters are invited to attend.
Your involvement with any of the committees or events is not required but is welcome and encouraged.
Being a part of the band experience is a great way for you and your band student.
Please feel free to talk with any Band Booster
committee chairperson or officer to learn how you too can volunteer.
The high school years can be great, but also a little scary for both parents and students!
Find a way to get involved and stay connected,
band boosters is a great way to have involvement while supporting the efforts of the band.
Your time helps the band in its success.
The school year starts out with a “bang” for our band students
with marching season’s football games and competitions.
The Band Boosters and band parents provide the necessary ‘behind the scenes’
work, talent and support that keeps the organization going and running smoothly.
Whether you have a lot of time or just a little, we can use your help.


ELECTRONIC MAILING LIST
In an effort to reduce the cost of both paper and postage and to better inform parents,
we will be sending all communications via e-mail. A list of email addresses will be used to send out news items, last minute changes, urgent needs, request for feedback and newsletters. These methods provide better and lower cost communications than sending notes with students or mailing newsletters. Please notify us if you will require paper communications. (See volunteer form on page 16.)
